What is stored

Data	What for	For how long
Name and email address	Account, sign-in, display on shared layouts	until the account is deleted
Password	Sign-in. Only a hash created with scrypt is stored, never the password itself.	until the account is deleted
Projects, floor plans (images and scale) and layouts	the actual purpose of the service	until you delete them or the account is deleted
Your furniture: labels, dimensions and colours of your pieces	so that you can place them in any layout. Only you see this list; it is not shared along with projects.	until you delete the entries or the account is deleted
Invitations: the email address of a person someone invites to a project	so that the invited person can sign up and land in the project. The address is provided by the person inviting; Stellprobe sends nothing, they pass the link on themselves.	until the invitation is accepted or withdrawn, 14 days at most
Session token (cookie sp_session)	keeps you signed in. Technically necessary, no tracking.	60 days or until you sign out
Sign-in and sign-up attempts with IP address	Protection against password guessing	7 days

There are no ads, no analytics tools and no disclosure to third parties for their own purposes. In addition, your browser keeps a local copy of your floor plan images so that they do not have to be reloaded every time you switch.

Who sees your projects

• You, and anyone you explicitly share a project with. Sharing covers the whole project with all floor plans and layouts; you can take it back at any time.
• People you share with see your name; they do not see your email address.
• Anyone who opens an invitation link sees the name of the person inviting, the name of the project and the invited address, nothing else.
• The operators have technical access to the database. They manage accounts (approve, block, reset password, delete) and for that purpose see name, email address, who invited whom, the number of projects, floor plans and layouts, and the storage used.

Where the data is kept

The application runs at Vercel Inc., the database at Neon Inc. (PostgreSQL). Both are processors based in the USA; fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to Google.

Your rights

You can request information about your data, its correction and its deletion. You delete individual projects, floor plans and layouts yourself in the planner; to have the whole account deleted, a message to the address above is enough. All projects, shares and floor plan images no longer in use disappear with the account.
